1 YEAR
PRE-OP
BEGIN LASER HAIR REMOVAL
Laser hair removal is timed differently for everyone. See our laser page for more info on what it could look like for you.
IMMEDIATELY
POST-OP
BEGIN LED LIGHT THERAPY
The minute you are ready to change your bandages, you should come to the shop for LED light therapy. We can help you remove your bandages and replace them after your session. This will help inhibit the scarification process. You can do LED as often as you like.
6-WEEKS
POST-OP
CUSTOM ENZYMATIC SKIN TREATMENT
6 weeks post-op: come in for a custom enzymatic skin treatment to refresh the area and boost the healthy skin around your scar. For optimal results we recommend a treatment every 4-6 weeks through the duration of your healing.
8-WEEKS
POST-OP
GRASTON WORK & KINESIO TAPING
See William, our occupational therapeutic practitioner for scar reduction and adhesion support. Both modalities are designed to break down the established scar tissue. Graston is an implement-assisted, fast paced, massage technique which will target any build up of tissue. The Kinesio Tape will then be placed to create tension in opposition to scar growth, smoothing it out over time while also promoting blood flow to the area.
